Campus Summary
The Community College of Aurora serves Aurora and the fast-growing eastern metro area. At CCA, our reputation has been built on the quality of the educational programs we provide, as well as the convenience with which we deliver those programs. Our CentreTech campus is located near Interstate 225 and the Aurora Town Center, and our Lowry campus offers quick access from central Denver and the Health Sciences center at Fitzsimons and the residential and commercial developments at Lowry and Stapleton. Our classes are offered day and evening as well as on the weekends. We have in-the-classroom and online classes, or a combination. At CCA, we focus on creating more opportunities for you, with the degree or certificate you need to get a good job, to advance in your career, or to continue your education. We pride ourselves on having the learning resources and support services you need to succeed.
Unique Programs
Our Colorado Film School (CFS) is a collaboration between CCA and the University of Colorado, where our students get hands-on experience in film-making. Our Emergency Medical Services program, a partnership with the Aurora Fire Department, Rural/Metro Ambulance Service and the Medical Center of Aurora, features state-of-the-art training methods, including a simulation studio, complete with robotic mannequins that exhibit real symptoms and respond to treatment. CCA has top-rated programs in public service and homeland security. Our Diesel Technician program is supported by Wagner Equipment Company. CCA also offers degrees and certificates in everything from early childhood and teacher education to business, and computers. CCA’s top-notch math and science programs are two examples of our quality that prepares students to transfer.
